What is the Ride for Hope?
The Ride for Hope is, essentially, very similar to all cycling events, but with a fundraising twist.
The Ride for Hope gives participants the opportunity to make an impact and be a part of a fun and memorable weekend by joining hundreds of enthusiastic cyclists for a mass-start, fully-supported event, complete with a challenging course through the beautiful island of Eleuthera. The Ride for Hope is a ride, not a race, and has distance options for all abilities.
Participants collectively achieve lofty goals by fundraising amounts linked to their participation. There are six different levels of participation, each level with its own fundraising minimum and rider benefits. The fundraising minimums during the 11th Ride for Hope created a philanthropic response of more than $275,000. All riders accepted and rose to the challenge! The fundraising effort per participant was 34% over the last event. Ride for Hope is excited to continue with the true spirit of a fundraiser in an effort to garner funds together to meaningfully impact a critical cause, and eradicate cancer from our shores.
