2019 Rider Route

100 Milers will lead out, going south out of Cocodimamas in Governor’s Harbour town, they will do the “bank road” loop twice for a total of 35 miles. 100 milers will then head back north and continue up to North Eleuthera Airport (32.5 miles) and back south to Cocodimama’s (another 32.5 miles).

The remainder of the mile riders will head north from Cocodimama’s:
10 miles turnaround is James Cistern
20 miles turnaround is Rainbow Boy
40 miles turnaround is Gregory Town
50 miles turnaround is Glass Window Bridge
65 miles turnaround is North Eleuthera Airport

All above-mentioned turnaround points will have support tents.

2019 Runner Routes

Marathon (26.2 miles) – This is a 26.2 mi route in . The route has a total ascent of 633.71 ft and has a maximum elevation of 96.75 ft. The marathon route is for experienced runners only. Every participant must be in adequate health and sufficiently trained to partake in this race. Consult your physician before beginning any endurance-training regimen.

Start and Finish location: Cocodimama
Support tents: Runners should be prepared to carry fluids and food themselves. Runners will be able to use the Ride for Hope support tent at mile 10.
Time limit: 6 hours

Half marathon (13.1 miles) – Cocodimama to just past James Cistern turnaround then back to Cocodimama – This is a 13.16 mi route in . The route has a total ascent of 201.62 ft and has a maximum elevation of 58.43 ft. The half-marathon run is for experienced runners. Every participant must be in adequate health and sufficiently trained to partake in this race. Consult your physician before beginning any endurance-training regimen.

Start and Finish location: Cocodimama
Support tents: Runners should be prepared to carry fluids and food themselves.
Time limit: 6 hours (MB limit), all participants must complete the first 6 miles within a 1.5 hour period.

10K (6.2 miles) – Cocodimama start to turnaround This is a 6.0 mi route in . The route has a total ascent of 120.71 ft and has a maximum elevation of 56.76 ft. Every participant must be in adequate health and sufficiently trained to partake in this race. Consult your physician before beginning any endurance-training regimen.

Start and Finish location: Cocodimama
Support tents: Runners should be prepared to carry fluids and food.
Time limit: Runners should keep a sub 15 minute pace.

5K (3.1 miles) Cocodimama to just past Governor’s Harbor Airport turnaround then back to Cocodimama. This is a 3.15 mi route in. The route has a total ascent of 40.58 ft and has a maximum elevation of 16.92. Every participant must be in adequate health and sufficiently trained to partake in this race. Consult your physician before beginning any endurance-training regimen.

Start and Finish location: Cocodimama
Support tents: Water and food is available at the start/finish line.
Time limit: Runners/walkers should keep a sub 15 minute pace.
