FAQ – Fundraising

Do you have a form I can use to record my sponsors?

Yes, please click here to download and print the form.

Do I have to raise money?

Yes. The Ride for Hope is a fundraiser. We are very proud of our fundraising accomplishments and aim to better them each year, so that we can impact cancer care and research in The Bahamas, and help those who need us most.

Where does my registration fee and sponsorship money go?

Your registration fee is used to cover event expenses. However, every single dollar (100%) you raise through your fundraising efforts goes to the cause – cancer patient care and treatment, early detection, and research programs in The Bahamas. Very few not-for-profit organizations can make the 100% claim and the Ride for Hope is very proud of its achievements in this regard.

What programmes do we support?

Please feel free to download the summary of programmes supported by the Ride for Hope. Read it and get to know what you – as a participant of the Ride for Hope – are supporting! You are doing great things – thank you!

Use the programme summary to reach out to your supporters. Donors really like to know where their money is going! In your fundraising efforts, remember to emphasize that every dollar you raise goes to support programs. No participant fundraising money goes to event costs. All event costs are underwritten by generous corporate sponsors.
