2020 Rider Routes

All cycling support tents/turnarounds are shown on the 100 mile cyclist route map.

10 Miles – Right on Banks Road to the Governor’s Harbour Support Tent at the top of the hill, back to La Bougainvillea.

20 Miles – Complete the 10 mile route twice.

35 Miles – Right on Banks Road, down the downhill in Governor’s Harbour, Right onto Queen’s Highway to James Cistern Support Tent, turnaround back to La Bougainvillea.

50 Miles – Right on Banks Road, down the downhill in Governor’s Harbour, Right onto Queen’s Highway to Hatchet Bay Field Support Tent, turnaround back to La Bougainvillea.

60 Miles –Right on Banks Road, down the downhill in Governor’s Harbour, Right onto Queen’s Highway to Gregory Town Support Tent, turnaround back to La Bougainvillea.

70 Miles – Right on Banks Road, down the downhill in Governor’s Harbour, Right onto Queen’s Highway to Glass Window Bridge Support Tent, turnaround back to La Bougainvillea.

100 Mile Route – 100 Milers will lead out, going North out of La Bougainvillea on Banks Road, they will do the “Banks Road” loop counterclockwise. 100 milers will then head back North along Queen’s Highway and continue up to North Eleuthera Airport Support Tent, turnaround back to La Bougainvillea .

Governor’s Harbour, top of the hill – 10 miles turnaround
James Cistern – 35 miles turnaround
Hatchet Bay Field – 50 miles turnaround
Gregory Town – 60 miles turnaround
Glass Window Bridge – 70 miles turnaround
North Eleuthera Airport – 100 miles turnaround

 

2019 Runner Routes

5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles)
Start and Finish location: La Bougainvillea
Water Station: 5K turnaround.
Time limit: Runners/walkers should keep a sub 15 minute pace.

Start and Finish location: La Bougainvillea
Water Stations: 5K turnaround, 10K turnaround.
Time limit: Runners should keep a sub 15 minute pace.

Half marathon (13.1 miles)
Start and Finish location: La Bougainvillea
Support tents (Water, Food, Restrooms):Governor’s Harbour, top of the hill
Water Stations: 5K turnaround, 10K turnaround, and Sunset Inn.
Time limit: 6 hours, all participants must complete the first 6 miles within a 1.5 hour period.

Marathon (26.2 miles)The marathon route is for experienced runners only. Runners will be followed by a support truck, and water stops will be made every two miles.
Start location:Hatchet Bay
Finish location: La Bougainvillea
Support tents (Water, Food, Restrooms): Hatchet Bay, James Cistern, and Governor’s Harbour, top of the hill.
Water Stations: Rainbow Inn, S. Rainbow Bay, James Cistern, North Governor’s Harbour Airport, Governor’s Harbour Airport, North of Cocodimama, South of Cocodimama, Worker’s House, 10K turnaround, 5K turnaround.
Time limit: 6 hours
